About Us...
The Downtown Kissimmee Area Council (DKAC) has several on-going annual projects that includes; Business &
Residential Beautification Awards, Lead the efforts to create the Community Redevelopment Agency, Created Downtown Dollars Gift Certificates and Worked with the Kissimmee Police Department to establish a Business Crime Watch Program Downtown Kissimmee.

Membership
DKAC is one of the eight area councils that make up the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce. Any person, firm, association, corporation, partnership or entity who is a member in good standing of the Chamber and who expresses interest consistent with the council's mission shall be eligible for council membership.

Each March, DKAC hosts the traditional "Human Checker Game", held downtown Kissimmee, a friendly challange between the Cities of Kissimmee & St. Cloud and Poinciana & Celebration.
